Poverty Tracker data analyzes and summarizes findings based on questions asked before and after implementation of the NYC Paid Sick Leave Law, analyzing rates of paid sick leave taken before and after implementation of the law. While most workers were more likely to take sick leave after the implementation of the law, some demographic groups did not see an increase in sick leave, such as part-time workers and workers with a high school diploma or less, indicating disparities among low-income and higher income New Yorkers.
