Capital One's Community Investment
Capital One’s $500,000 grant to Robin Hood will provide skills training and support for 2,500 Bronx residents. Facing the highest rates of poverty, hardship, and health issues in NYC, the Bronx also has the highest unemployment rate among young adults aged 18-34 at 31%.
Deloitte's Pro Bono Support
Since 2020, Deloitte has provided $1M annually and $5M in pro bono support to Robin Hood, boosting our grantees with strategic guidance in communications, tech, and workforce planning. Their pro bono efforts help nonprofits thrive, and their partnership strengthens NYC's nonprofit sector for a brighter, more inclusive future.
Barclays Volunteers
A key initiative of Robin Hood’s partnership with Barclays is its collaboration with the HOPE Program’s job training. Barclays professionals conduct mock interviews, providing vital feedback and guidance for participants that create transformative opportunities and forge new pathways.
Maven Securities' Commitment
Maven Securities stepped up as a Robin Hood partner by meeting rising juniors and seniors of DREAM Charter School in the South Bronx. Maven offered DREAM students insight into their future careers as well as invaluable mentorship – with some Maven employees having walked the same streets as these students.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
We provide ways for your employees to engage at all levels with our community partners. Whether we are organizing an impactful event or day inclusive of volunteering in the community, or connecting your employees to serve on nonprofit boards, we are able to help your people do good in New York City.
Corporate Engagement Days
Join us and our network of partners on a quarterly basis in a day of action! At each corporate engagement day, your employees will meet other poverty fighters from our corporate network, help one of our community partners, and learn more about their work. These volunteer days allow you to plug a group of employees into a volunteer activity without undertaking a significant recruitment commitment.
Bespoke Volunteer Opportunity
Let us plan a volunteer event for your firm! We work with your team to identify activities and causes that are aligned with your social impact priorities. There is no need for you to do the organizing; you only need to recruit volunteers and show up. Our bespoke volunteer opportunities are great for everyone, such as small CSR teams looking to outsource volunteer event planning, ERGs looking to get active in the community, and larger corporates looking for activities for a day of impact.
Pro Bono Projects
Apply the expertise of your employees to causes that matter with short-term pro bono projects! Areas of support can include, but are not limited to, marketing and communications, strategy and operations, as well as financial, legal, and talent strategy.
Board Service
Are you looking to join a nonprofit board? Board service is one of the deepest forms of volunteerism by impacting the governance of nonprofits. We can provide 1:1 support for interested board candidates from your firm, helping them identify, interview, and join boards of our community partners, which include NYC’s best-in-class poverty-fighting organizations.
LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES
Quarterly Deep Dives
Join our program team and subject matter experts for discussions around the best ideas and solutions for some of NYC’s most pressing issues (previous topics include housing, childcare, apprenticeships, etc).
Robin Hood 101
Available as an interactive session led by Robin Hood staff or as a fireside chat with an executive team member, a 101 session is an excellent way for your employees to learn more about the landscape of poverty in NYC and how they can help fight it.
Programmatic Deep Dives
We offer sessions that are perfect for teaching your firm with one of our program officers to cover an area of interest to your firm’s philanthropic priorities or employees’ passion areas. This is a great lunch and learn opportunity for an ERG Awareness month or CSR campaign.
Smart Philanthropy Series
Do you run an employee-led philanthropy program? We offer sessions that are perfect for teaching your philanthropic-minded employees how NYC’s largest poverty-fighting philanthropy evaluates and invests in causes.
