“We know that AI will have a transformative impact across all sectors, and the speed of adoption of generative AI tools demonstrates that this transformation is coming quickly. Massive technological change always brings opportunities and challenges, and we know that those living in poverty are more likely to bear the brunt of those challenges while being shut out of opportunity. But it does not have to be that way. We must come together – as businesspeople, civic leaders, innovators, and philanthropists, to ensure that AI becomes a tool for opportunity and to foster responsible uses of AI in service of expanding upward mobility from poverty,” said Richard R. Buery, Jr., CEO of Robin Hood.
