Pick-A-Ticker
Robin Hood's newest fundraising competition pairs impactful financial investing with giving back to a charitable cause.
How it Works
How it Works
Robin Hood’s Pick-A-Ticker Competition is a novel fundraiser to fuel poverty-fighting solutions for New Yorkers. Structured much like a March Madness bracket, participants make a $10,000 donation to enter the competition, and over the course of six months will compete by submitting their best investment ideas (one long, and one short).
New this year: Participants can now rebalance at three predetermined points during the competition, replacing either their long pick, short pick, or both with new selections ($5,000 per pick or $10,000 for both) while keeping their current leaderboard performance—perfect for comebacks and course corrections!
Bundle packages are available for firms or individuals looking to submit multiple entries at a discounted rate.
At the end of the competition, two-thirds of the total funds raised will be allocated to Robin Hood, and one-third of the funds raised will be allocated according to the winner’s designation: to Robin Hood, or to one of our existing grantees or portfolios.
