Our Strategy
We fund and support our grantee organizations and partners to:
- Address critical basic needs: We support emergency food provision, enrollment in critical poverty-reducing benefits, and immigration and eviction legal services.
- Provide housing and homelessness prevention: We advocate for affordable housing, pathways from shelter to permanent housing, and eviction prevention.
- Support workforce development: We fund programs that provide skills training and connections to well-paying careers.
- Improve health outcomes: We invest in programs addressing chronic conditions that disproportionately impact low-income New Yorkers.
