The Children’s Museum of Manhattan is a steward of early childhood, helping all children grow and develop into their best selves through on-site and online programming around the five boroughs. As part of their mission, CMOM partners with the Department of Corrections to change the nature of young children’s interactions with their incarcerated parents through Family Connections, a visitation program held at CMOM. The program provides a supportive, safe and child-friendly learning environment that helps families mitigate the harmful effects of parental incarceration.
Robin Hood partners with CMOM to support its services for incarcerated parents and their children, and for families living in shelters.
