Coney Island Prep is a well-performing K-12 public charter school serving students in southern Brooklyn across four campuses. Coney Island Prep was hit hard by the pandemic; by the end of 2022, students’ academic proficiency in math ad reading saw significant drops. Thanks to Robin Hood’s support, Coney Island Prep implemented an effective high-dosage tutoring program that lead to notable growth in students’ foundational academic skills.
