Communities Resist (CoRe) supports Brooklyn and Queens tenants through direct legal representation, organizing, advocacy, empowerment, and education. Robin Hood funds CoRe’s eviction prevention work as the organization fights side by side with tenants from the most vulnerable communities of color to not only keep them in their homes, but also to combat horrendous living conditions and systemic discrimination and harassment in the city’s most city’s most gentrified neighborhoods.
