Redefining Social Impact

How Robin Hood is bringing boardrooms to the boroughs with corporate partnerships

We’re on a mission to combat poverty and empower New York communities to thrive. Crucial allies in this fight are our corporate partners, who help us bridge the gap between the private sector and our efforts to fight poverty in New York City. Learn more about how two partners are doing this below:

Recently, corporate staff at Maven Securities met with rising juniors and seniors at DREAM Charter School (a Robin Hood grantee) in the South Bronx for a career panel, providing an invaluable opportunity for students to gain insights into how their future careers can support upward mobility from individuals who have walked similar paths.

This partnership with Maven Securities leveraged the expertise, resources, and lived experiences of Maven’s leadership and staff to create meaningful change in the lives of young people.

Barclays Investment Bank participates in our grantee The HOPE Program’s sectoral job training initiative, conducting mock interviews and offering invaluable guidance to program participants.

These sessions aren’t just practice runs; they represent transformative opportunities for individuals striving to improve their prospects and break the cycle of poverty.

Through corporate partnerships, we’re opening doors and expanding horizons for New Yorkers in need.
